La Torre di Veglia
Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella VR, Italy (Veneto)

Pinot Grigio
Delle Venezie DOC

Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio is a big export for the international market. Because of this, you will see a lot of different versions trying to follow trends and a lot of watered-down examples competing for the lowest price. With La Torre, you will experience an authentic style that is both balanced and enjoyable with white flowers, orchard fruits, yellow peach, and citrus. A great value, but never at the expense of quality.

Points of Interest

For better or worse Pinot Grigio is Italy’s most popular white wine. Because of this fact, you will see a lot of not-so-great examples on the shelf from large bottlers producing millions of bottles. This wine is sourced from a single estate in Friuli and the Maccan family is recognized as the best producer in the Grave region. High quality grapes separate this wine with a good balance of fruit ripeness and freshness.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Trevenezie IGT

Cabernet Sauvignon

The world’s most widely planted grape has many expressions. The La Torre Cabernet is a pure expression of this noble grape with just the right touch of real, neutral oak barrels. A refreshing example with dark fruits like cassis, blackberry, and plum. Accents to the fruit include, violet flowers, smoked wood, hints of spice, and a mild tannin that is deep and satisfying.

Points of Interest

A terroir driven wine with a true northern Italian style. We are convinced you won’t find a better Cabernet for the money than this. With six months in neutral French oak from meticulously farmed grapes, if this wine was from Californian, it would be 2-3 times the price.
Moscato
Veneto IGT

Moscato Giallo

When it comes to Moscato wines, it is all about the sweetness and fruit flavor. The trick is having the right proportion of freshness and acidity in your wine to keep each sip lively and fun. Expect a delicately sparkling wine with fresh fruit expressing peach, apricot, honeysuckle, pear, and hints of sage. Some Moscato’s feel like syrup but this one is bright, fresh, and full of real fruit sweetness.

Points of Interest

La Torre wines strive for balance and drinkability and the quality shows in this Moscato. At many of our tastings and events, the Moscato quickly becomes a favorite. with statements like “I don’t like sweet wines, but my friend said yours is so good I had to come try it!” It’s sweetness like nature intended.
