The Veneto is situated in the northeast of Italy between Lake Garda and the Adriatic. The Po, Italy’s longest river forms its southern border with Emilia-Romagna. To the east the region stretches as far as Friuli-Venzia Giulia.
The contours of the land and the souls are extremely varied, ranging in altitude and composition form the plains of the Adige and Piave River to the heights of the Dolomite Mountains. The climate varies too, with temperatures that go from Alpine to Mediterranean, although these extremes are tempered by the influence of the rivers and lakes, which create ideal micro-zones for viticulture. The two famous DOC zones are Valpolicella and Piave, but there are many others worthy of note such as Colli Euganei, the Colli Berici, Montella and the east bank of Lake Garda.
Ornella Molon Traverso was created from the passion of two entrepreneurs, who were dedicated to farming the beautiful land of Veneto with wines that are both unique to the Veneto region yet classic in their appeal. The Ornella Molon Moscato Spumante is a deep golden brown in color with a wonderful sparkle that dances on the palate.
