  • Welcoming L'Arco to Our Portfolio

  • 01 November 2013
  • We are excited to introduce Luca Fedrigo and the L’Arco wines to our portfolio!

L’Arco is a project of passion stemmed from the tutelage of the legendary Amarone producer Giuseppe Quintarelli. At the young age of 17, Luca Fedrigo began his winemaking career when Giuseppe offered him an apprenticeship at his prestigious winery.

For years the two men worked side by side in the vineyards and the cellar where Giuseppe imparted his vast winemaking knowledge on Luca, continually emphasizing the importance of utilizing the traditional winemaking techniques and the natural varietals of the Valpolicella zone. With careful guidance and scrupulous attention to detail, Giuseppe helped Luca acquire the unique skill of creating wines that possess both elegance and balance. It is a skill that Luca has undeniably mastered and which has brought him remarkable praise from international wine critics and consumers alike.

In 1998, after 11 years of diligent practice, and with the support of Quintarelli, Luca decided to form his own winery, L’Arco. For Luca, winemaking is an intimate art. He pours his heart and the traditions of his land into each bottle and the result is something of sheer magnificence.
